NOAA Ship FAIRWEATHER.

Twin diesel, length 231 feet, beam 48 feet, draft 16 feet. Built at Aerojet-General Shipyards, Jacksonville, Florida, in 1967. Primarily Pacific service from 1968-1989 thence laid-up. Being reactivated in 2004 for Pacific service. Named for Mount Fairweather, southeast Alaska.
