Word was received of the death on the morning of April 6 of Dr. Duffield R. Kruger, surgeon on the ship FATHOMER, in the Philippine Islands. Dr. Kruger was born in Detroit, Michigan, February 2, 1894, and served in the Army Medical Corps during the World War. He entered the service of this Bureau on January 10, 1927.
